void void void missing gone!

ok, so, guess I better update things. We already discussed the load problems in the last blog post about quality control delays with this trip. This morning everything was sorted out and we were to pick up that same loaded trailer and deliver to the same scheduled location. We have been searching for our loaded trailer now for hours, and it isn’t here. The trailer tracking device, dispatch, and the shipper says it is here. The yard dog can’t find it, I can’t find it, it simply isn’t here! Finally, the latest word is that folks think the trailer was taken by another driver, or the load was duplicated. In either case, this trip has been voided. AGAIN!

Now, we are trying to talk with dispatch about what we are going to do, another trip, or anything to get us moving. As soon as I hear something, we will get back with ya’ll

  1. Oh my. That sounds like my bosses at the height of the pandemic! Breathe deep, Steve! We’re here with you!

  2. Dang! Things seem to be falling apart. It’ll get better.

  3. A mess but you know you’re doing your best but it’s gotta be frustrating. Hope everyone else involved get things together so you can do what you do best. Keep America’s shelved stocked.
    Hopefully we’ll see you soon.

  4. What an absolute farce. There is no other way to put it. 😀

    1. A farce is supposed to be funny. This is a shakespearian tragedy.

  5. Ugh…nothing seems to go your way lately. Don’t worry. It will get better. Praying that it does.

  6. Murphy’s Law has gone into full effect. Just wait until there is not enough DEF to go around.

  7. New trip posted.

Hopefully the only drama with this trip and future ones is where Steve is going to take his breaks.

  8. Well, let’s all enjoy a sing-a-long. Maybe by the time we finish, Steve will be driving again.

“10 million bottles of beer on the wall”……just kidding!

  9. Hi steve I am very sorry 😞 about the last 2days because I felt very bad because I missed you steve and road crew very much to and I hope tomorrow things will be better again to

  10. I’m sorry to hear this. It must be upsetting to you. Best of luck finding a load quickly. We’re all praying for you.

  11. This is why it’s always easier to deal with small box shippers versus big box ones because they care about Americana and getting their products out to the masses. It’s ridiculous that you have to go through all this running around before you get a straight answer from anyone and by the time you do, your day is wasted and you don’t have many nice things to say at the end of it. I find the biggest offenders seem to be the grocery store and gee I wonder why that would be? It’s getting to a point where if the American people want to sit on their ass and watch their food supply dwindle, then I hope we’re all ready to experience what friends of ours escaped from in China.

  12. I feel sorry for this.
