Update from BigRigSteve on X, posted on 4/26/24: “We have officially been cleared to return to driving and broadcasting!  We will broadcast from Belvidere to Gary on Monday about lunch or so.  We have our A, B, and CalBIT inspections due and have a Tuesday 6am shop appointment.  I suspect Wednesday we will be 100% on the open road”

  3. This is wonderful news!! So glad you’re feeling better and “welcome back “. I’m sure the doggies and kitties will miss you come Monday lol. TK says bout time lol.

    • Frog hit him in face wiff a mud pie when he got back to the truck. Lol. Scraped mud off floor mats & you can guess where he got the “water” to mix with it

  17. Hello from Kara in Saint Paul MN. well here is a little different slant on how I had and hope to again to enjoy watching Steve. I live on SSDI and have no car and little in the way of being able to get out and enjoy the world. so up until now I hyad relaly appreciated watching the open road with Steve. so unbeknownst to
    Steve he actually gave me a benefit for being able to watch BRT! When I had a car I used to ejoy the open road by myself and traveling. so NOW I’ll be SUPER eager and excited to see Steve back on the road. With that, Good luck Steve! and once your rolling again I’ll be here at home and watching from my computer! Steve, drive safely and take care and I hope your condition does’nt come back. I wish I could babysit your cats and dogs! Kara
