How It All Started
The idea for BigRigTravels was born out of a simple realization: the views from the windshield of a commercial truck are too good to keep to oneself. Steve wanted to dismantle the mystery of the trucking world and bring the peaceful, hypnotic, and sometimes thrilling reality of long-haul driving to people who might never get to experience it firsthand. By combining cutting-edge live-streaming gear with his daily routes, he created a window to the world, transforming a solitary profession into a collective interactive experience.
Who He Is & What He Has Done
Steve is a veteran professional driver, a tech-savvy broadcaster, and a natural storyteller. Known for his warm demeanor, easygoing humor, and dedication to his viewers, he has successfully built an online community from the ground up. Over the years, Steve has safely navigated hundreds of thousands of miles, mastered the logistics of high-tech mobile broadcasting, and kept the Road Crew entertained through traffic jams, detours, and late-night hauls. (And yes, he manages to do it all while keeping a steady supply of Cheetos on hand to appease his demanding amphibious co-pilot, AJ).
Plans for the Future
Steve is never one to idle for too long. While his commitment to commercial hauling and the “Blue Comet” remains strong, he is actively steering BigRigTravels into an exciting new chapter. Steve’s future plans focus heavily on expanding his “RV fun” lifestyle, taking the Entegra Odyssey 31F off the interstate freeways and onto the scenic backroads. He plans to bring the Road Crew along for more destination-based live streams, community meetups, campground reviews, and cultural festivals. For Steve, the mission remains exactly the same: keeping the wheels turning, the stream live, and the Road Crew united.
