Well I managed to survive on breadcrumbs, no coffee and no bathrooms lol. Not a bad night overall but when we left that picnic area you could see tons of lightning and the radar showed storms brewing already. We still managed an ontime delivery even with big delays at the shipper and the storms blowing over the big rigs on the road yesterday. OK, we were ten minutes late. Oh well.
We have done a great job of avoiding the tornadoes and bad weather all these years. Now, yesterday was the third time this year alone we got way too close to active tornadoes!! Whoever has that tornado magnet in their pocket needs to throw it out the window please!
We have our next trip lined up and it is a doozie! Before we roll though, we will require a break…..unless things work out differently. Lol. I will have to let y’all know when I find out more.
