Daily Summary for 6/2/2025
Forest Park, GA to Birmingham, AL
Big Rig Travels Monday began at about 9:00 am near Atlanta, GA. Steve advised we were headed to shipper and picking up a preloaded trailer which was ready in Kennesaw, GA. Steve reports he has a new 70 hour clock.
As he arrives at shipper at about 10 am, he talks to Zelda, “Good thing we know where we’re going, obviously you don’t.” He drives through the customer property towards his preloaded trailer, he notes that they are dismantling the old trailers, some of which have been there for years. “Chew them up, spit ‘em out. Make room for new trailers”
At about 10:30 am, status changed to “On time to delivery.” Starting our trip to Hernando, MS.
Stop at a Love’s around 12:15 pm where coffee is acquired.
At around 2:15 pm he parks at a Pilot (used to be a Flying J) near Birmingham, AL. Recording ends and he soon after, starts a LIVE watch party from the truck stop. Further information about name changes are discussed.

Numbers: 227 miles to receiver. We covered 210 miles including a customer stop rolling out of Georgia and into Alabama.
