Daily Summary for 5/30/2025

Hansen, KY via TN to Kennesaw, GA

Big Rig Travels Friday began at 9:48 am near Hansen, Ky at the Love’s.  It is 60 degrees and partly cloudy.  We are continuing our trip to Forest Park, GA.  Delivery is 9:30 pm tonight.  368 miles to go.  “Lot’s of rain this morning, clearing up now”  Recording is 6.5 hours.

Got onto I-69 south then onto I-24 at Hopkinsville, KY at 10:40 am.

“Welcome to Tennessee.  TENNESSEEEE!! welcomes you.” at 10:52 am near Clarksville.

Steve is entering the Nashville area at 11:28 am.  Slowdown in the metro area, “welcome to Nashville” at 11:34 am. 

Stopped at the Love’s near Christiana, TN at 12:28 pm.  On the way to the parking lot, Steve exclaims “Big Rig Parking!!  We need more of those.”   He gave a lesson on not blocking fuel island and since he was waiting for fuel authorization he didn’t go into an open fuel lane, leaving it open for someone that could use it right away.  BRS advises we have 323 to Diamond status.  “Onions and hot dogs!!” were available for Steve when he went into the store.

Got a notification that his next trip is an empty trailer move and then he will bobtail away for the weekend.

Truck inspection station near Monteagle, TN at 1:38 pm, no issues.

Welcome to Eastern Time Zone near Chattanooga, TN , with time now 3:19 pm EDT.

Welcome to Georgia at 3:20 pm near Trenton. We head back into TN for a few minutes before then getting back into Georgia at 3:53 pm once more.

Recording ends near Kennesaw, GA at 5:15 pm.  Steve advised during a later watch party on Monday evening 6/2/25 that our high powered cord had gone bad and had been running a lower power cord that was unable to maintain the camera.
