Big Rig Travels day began at 5:27 am CDT. It was 22 degrees and dark at the BP truck stop near Murray, KY. We are headed to the shipper for a live load.
Arrival to check in at 5:38 am and backed into a dock by 5:49 am. At 6:21 am, Steve decides its time to take a nap.
We are starting our trip to Coatesville, PA at 11:14 am. “We are heavy.”
Cat scale visit for mass weigh check at Love’s near Calvert City, KY at 11:53 am, then fuel in the Blue Comet. 183 gallons to platinum.
Stop at Huck’s Pilot truck stop near Beaver Dam, KY at 2:00 pm. Steve scores two chicken sandwiches.
I-64 rest area stop near Winchester, KY at 6:11 pm EDT. We also restart a new stream due to approaching 12 hour limit.
Big Rig Steve officially done at 7:40 pm at the Flying J near Catlettsburg, KY. It was 25 degrees and clear with some snow visible on the ground. He noted a road crew meet up yesterday after broadcast ended, Jack and Bryce.
Numbers: 488 miles to receiver with delivery appointment 6:30 am Thursday. We covered 381 miles including a long live load this morning.
Clocks: 0:19 hours on 11 hr, 0:19 hours on 14 hr, 11:20 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 5:50 hours tomorrow morning.
No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
