BRS points out new Buc-ee’s station being built at 11:19 am near Murfreesboro, TN.
Stop at the Pilot at 11:29 am for coffee.
I-24 slowdown at 11:50 am due to an accident.
Stop at the Blue Beacon near Nashville for a trailer washout at 12:14 pm. Washout complete at 12:54 pm.
I-24 slowdown at 1:30 pm as we were going from three lanes to two lanes .
Backroads start at 2:12 pm near Clarksville, TN.
US79 crossing the Tennessee River at 3:34 pm near Dover, TN.
Stop on the side of the road on US641 at 3:59 pm near Puryear, TN to check messages. Steve contacts the shipper to see if we can show up early. He is advised that the product won’t be ready until late tonight. BRS says we will show up early in the morning.
“Check this out, welcome to Kentucky” at 4:13 pm near Hazel.
Big Rig Steve officially done at 4:33 pm at a BP baby truck stop in Murray, KY. Expected start time is 5:30 am tomorrow.

I’ve been to Murray, Kentucky though not since 2004. Murray, Kentucky is the city where the headquarters of the final company I worked for as a company driver is located before I became an independent contractor.
