Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at safely parked near Tuscola, Illinois at 20:06 CST.

Title: A Day in Illinois

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 11:42 CST at BRT World Headquarters in Belvidere, Illinois after completing our time off.  We rolled back onto the big road as Bobtail Bob to start the trailer hunt.  

Stopped at Love’s near Hampshire, IL, fueled the Blue Comet at 12:15 CST.

Arrival at Joliet, IL to grab an empty trailer at 13:45 CST.

Leaving with an empty trailer in tow at 14:20 CST, headed to the Blue Beacon for a trailer washout. 

Arrived at Blue Beacon near Monee, IL at 15:05 CST with a bit of a wait due to a long line. BRS answers BRT YT chat questions while we wait.  Washout complete at 16:31 CST, we roll onto I-57 south.

Received a green light for the mass/weigh station near Peotone, IL at 16:35 CST.

Kankakee, IL stop at the Loves at 17:00 CST for refer trailer fuel.

Arrival at shipper near Champaign, IL at 18:34 CST for check in. At 19:33 CST, exited from the shipper, back onto I-57 south starting our trip to Fort Worth, TX.  We are heavy, heavy, heavy.

Numbers:  833 miles 1340 km to receiver.  We covered 260 miles 418 km including finding a trailer, trailer washout, drop and hook at the shipper rolling within Illinois. 13.2 mpg while we were Bobtail Bob. Reached Love’s gold status for March, 405 from Platinum.

Clocks: 5:09 hours on 11 hr,  4:55 hours on 14 hr,  61:07 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours for 8 days. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.   Should be an easy day tomorrow, delivery will be a drop on the 28th.  Choose the BRT YouTube channel alarm bell to receive notifications for the start of our broadcast.
