Daily Summary for 12/24/2025

Dunnigan, CA-Lathrop-Stockton- Ripon, CA

Big Rig Travels day began at 7:20 am PST.  It was 56 degrees and overcast at the Pilot at Dunnigan, CA.  We are continuing our revised trip to Lathrop, CA (originally was to deliver in Shafter, CA) to drop our loaded trailer and pick up another preloaded trailer at the yard to drop at Stockton, CA.  

BRS spots the Amtrak Train at 8:05 am near Sacramento, CA, then at 8:11 am a patrol car with its lights on.

Arrival at the yard at 9:07 am.  Completed the drop and hook.  Broadcast resumed at 9:47 am, leaving Lathrop, CA and starting our new trip to Stockton, CA.

Pilot stop to top off the refer tank at 10:04 am.  

Rain started at 10:24 am and arrival at the receiver at 10:28 am to drop the trailer in Stockton, CA.  Empty trailer acquired, tandems adjusted at 11:13 am.  We are starting our next trip to the shipper near Manteca, CA.

Big Rig Steve officially done at 11:48 am at the Love’s near Ripon, CA.  We’ll take a 34 hour restart here and conduct a watch party tonight at 7:00 pm PST.  Next trip is a live load in Manteca, CA at 1:30 pm on 12/26 and delivers to City of Industry on 12/27.  Plan is to pick up our glasses on 12/26 morning near Turlock, CA.

Numbers:  miles to receiver/shipper.  We covered 122 miles including two deliveries and three trailers.

Clocks: 7:48 hours on 11 hr, 8:33 hours on 14 hr, 15:06 hours on 70 hr which will all reset.  

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
