Daily Summary for 12/10/2025

Gary, IN to Kenosha, WI to Village of Somers, WI

Big Rig Travels day began at 11:04 am.  It was 33 degrees, overcast and snow flurries near Gary, IN.  We are starting our trip with the preloaded trailer from the yard to Kenosha, WI.

Stopped at the Love’s near Wadsworth, IL at 12:44 pm for refer fuel and cheeseburger hotdog.  We are now 358 gallons to gold for January.

Arrival at the receiver at 1:21 pm near Kenosha, WI.  Delivery completed after a long wait.  Leaving the receiver at 6:50 pm.  It was 27 degrees and dark and needed to find parking.

Made a parking spot at the Kwik Trip near the Village of Somers, WI at 7:01 pm.  We are told we needed to move to a different spot, and then safely parked at 7:08 pm.  We will do a trailer washout tomorrow morning before getting to the shipper.   Stream ended at 7:19 pm.

Numbers: 30 miles to shipper, and a live load at 8:00 am tomorrow.  We covered 101 miles today.

Clocks: 50:37 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
