Daily Summary for 11/5/2025

PennForest, PA to Roanoke, VA

Big Rig Travels day began at 7:32 am.  It is 35 degrees and mostly cloudy near the travel plaza at Penn Forest Twp, PA.  We are continuing our dead head trip to shipper near West Hazleton, PA.

Back onto I-476 at 7:37 am.

Arrival at shipper at 8:17 am near West Hazleton, PA.  Assigned door #5.  “Dry load as not a single refer here.”  Loading complete and status changed to “on time to delivery” at 11:48 am.  We are starting our trip to Roanoke, VA.  “We don’t have to scale out, we can be overloaded.”

Love’s stop at 12:49 pm. “Oh we got a long line” near Union Twp, PA.  Cat Scale check, “we are heavier than what the bills say.”  We are good.

Love’s stop at 2:52 pm near Hagerstown, MD.  “Well this is a crowded fuel island.”

Arrival at delivery at 7:09 pm.  “This looks like a mess.”  It is 66 degrees and dark near Roanoke, VA.  We will suspend our 14 hour clock.  Welcome to trucking.  We will not get unloaded until after 12:00 am., then will need to find parking.

Numbers: 0 miles to receiver. 

Clocks: 1:08 hours on 14 hr, 22:23 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.   Do have a preloaded trailer ready for pickup tomorrow anytime in Stuarts Draft, VA.  

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
