Daily Summary for 11/20/2025

Portage, IN to Streetsboro, OH

Big Rig Travels day began at 5:52 am CST.  It was 42 degrees, dark, misty, fog near Portage, IN I-80/I-90 Indiana tollroad service plaza.  “Oh, its too early.”  We are continuing our trip to Streetsboro, OH.

Welcome to Eastern Time Zone at 7:37 am as we lose an hour near New Carlisle, IN.  

Love’s stop near Elkhart, IN at 8:22 am for fuel for the Blue Comet and the trailer.  We are now 474 to Diamond status for December and 11 days to get there.

Welcome to Ohio at 10:08 am near Northwest Twp.

Rest stop near Genoa, OH at 11:19 am to talk to the boss.  No new trip yet, freight for this weekend is extremely light.

At 1:24 pm arrive at the receiver to check in near Streetsboro, OH.  BRS advises he will drop the trailer, bobtail out as there are no truckstops nearby, and will head to parking lot nearby.  Will return in the morning to pick up an empty trailer.

Big Rig Steve officially done at 1:47 pm parked in a small lot near the previous receiver.  Live load tomorrow at 5:30 pm tomorrow. 

Numbers: 15 miles to shipper.  850 mile trip to Alabama, delivery anytime before midnight on Sunday.

Clocks:4:50 hours on 11 hr, 6:28 hours on 14 hr, 4:48 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 11:08 hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
