Daily Summary for 11/21/2025

Streetsboro, OH to Jeffersonville, OH

Big Rig Travels day began at 9:55 am EST.  It is 44 degrees and overcast at a parking lot in Streetsboro, OH as Bobtail Bob.  We stop at Aldi to do some grocery shopping in Streetsboro at 10:03 am.

Arrive at the previous customer at 10:26 am to pick up an empty trailer, leaving at 10:42 am.  We are starting our next trip to the next shipper.

Check in at 11:29 am near Hiram, OH (or Troy Twp, OH).  Backed into a dock door at 11:53 am.  Advised next time can’t check in more than two hours early.  Status changed to “on time to delivery”.  We are starting our next trip to Opelika, AL at 12:59 pm.

Stop at the Pilot at 1:49 pm near Richfield, OH to visit the CAT scale for mass/weigh check. “OH, well, ok then, no adjustments necessary, 1000% legal.”  Coffee was then acquired.

Big Rig Steve officially done at 5:28 pm after jockeying to get into a parking spot.  “Here’s your view for the night” we had a fuel island viewing spot at the Love’s near Jeffersonville, OH.  Watch party started after closing theme music played.

Numbers: 605 miles to receiver, delivery anytime we get there on Sunday as a drop.  We covered 242 miles including visiting two customers and loading 5 hours early. 

Clocks:5:28 hours on 11 hr, 6:01 hours on 14 hr, 9:06 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 5:30 hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
