Daily Summary for 10/30/2025

Gary, IN to Lebanon, IN

Big Rig Travels day began at 1:29 pm CDT.  It is 54 degrees and partly cloudy at the Gary, IN Love’s.  “What a mess, what a mess, what a mess.”  The truck is good now for another 90 days, but it took a few more days than expected.  Advised that we had just reached Platinum when he topped off the refer tank, and now 482 to diamond which we won’t make for November.  We are starting our trip to the yard near Indianapolis, IN to pick up a preloaded trailer for delivery tomorrow at 11:00 am near Lebanon, IN.  During the maintenance they were way behind, so didn’t start until Tuesday, then had to wait due to some new new CA rules about engine having faults and memory needed to be cleared and faults addressed.

Big Rig Steve officially done at 4:39 pm EDT at the Flying J near Lebanon, IN.  “Nice easy day.”  

Numbers: 30 miles to the yard, then back to Lebanon, IN for delivery.

Clocks: 65:51 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
