Daily Summary for 10/31/2025

Lebanon, IN – Indianapolis, IN – Lebanon, IN

Big Rig Travels day began at 8:04 am EDT.  It is 38 degrees and clear skies at the Love’s near Lebanon, IN.  We are continuing our trip to the Indianapolis, IN drop yard.  

Arrival near the drop yard at 8:42 am, camera is switched to selfie mode, view of Steve, while we complete the drop and hook.  

At 9:04 am, as Steve peeks down at the camera, “I’m looking at the best Road Crew ever!”

“OK ready to go?” As we leave the drop yard, “you can hear this load is heavy.”  Steve advised we don’t need to weigh as there is no scale between here and Lebanon, IN.

Love’s stop near Whitestown, IN at 9:47 am for coffee.  It ends up being a long wait to finally get out at 10:14 am, even though it only took Steve 7 minutes to get his coffee.

Arrival at the receiver at 10:31 am near Lebanon, IN.  Steve checked in and our door was not ready.  We were finally able to back into a door at 12:55 pm (2 hours after his delivery appointment).  We were still waiting at 3:04 pm.  It was 55 degrees and partly cloudy as the sun was now shining and caused the camera to overheat. 

Steve advised on Discord that our next trip loads at the same place we delivered, a live load in Lebanon, IN on Saturday afternoon.  Delivery is on Monday in Salisbury, NC.

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
