What Happened?

Howdy! Well you probably noticed that we didn’t do much live broadcasting on Monday. Yes, Wyoming is known for bad buffer monsters and dead signal areas, but today was a catastrophic failure of YouTube! We would broadcast as normal, but then the stream would go to a black screen or get stuck and never recover. We had a continuous green light on our end which meant YouTube was getting a strong enough signal, but it just wasn’t sending it out to our channel. We pulled over multiple times and tried again with the same result. Yes, we restarted our equipment multiple times. Same issue. I finally gave up and figured it was all on YouTube’s end and started making hard recordings.

While we are in the shop on Tuesday, we have set up multiple Premiers of the drive you missed on Monday. Yes, you will be able to chat while everyone watches yesterday’s recordings. True, it isn’t the same as actually being LIVE, but it is the closest that we could work out. The good thing though is now you can watch some beautiful areas of Wyoming and Utah without those nasty buffer monsters! This is my first time to try Premiers, so hopefully everything works out correctly. I will try to jump in chat when possible and watch with you. The start times should all be shown on each Premier video listed on our channel. The videos are titled in parts since they really didn’t change the location data except when I restarted a recording session. Hopefully we will get the proper names broken down correctly according to each individual video later.

The show times for our premiers are listed below and are in Chicago timezone:

  • 0700
  • 0730
  • 0815
  • 0900
  • 0945
  • 1030
  • 1145
  • 1300
