Wednesday 

Good morning everyone!  Many, many thanks to everybody for all the comments,  emails,  and e-cards I have received for my birthday.  I appreciate each and every one of them! I started driving again at 130am to finally get to visit my Chicago buddy in the hospital.  Now he is taking a nap and I have returned to the truck for a nap of my own. On the walk back to the truck I snapped this photo of the hospital and the first sign of a new day… We are taking a few days off. Sure it’s not the Oregon and Crater Lake hiking trip that was originally planned,  but still very important.  We will hike another time. We return to driving on July 31.
