update for ya!

Evening Road Crew! Ok, so I apologize for the lack of an update today. I do not have an answer for you on why we have not been given a trip today. Apparently, there is no freight in this area…..I have been on the dispatch board ready and waiting all day. But ya know what? It hasn’t bothered me in the least! Even though we haven’t been driving and I didn’t do an update blog, that doesn’t mean I wasn’t thinking of ya! In fact, quite the opposite! All day today since about 4am I have been able to make a million tweaks to the website in general, and especially the BigRigTravels Store. The Store will reopen about the 22nd of October with shipments beginning about November 3rd or so. The new store will have a much easier format to make your color and size selections easier. I also decided to design and send to the printers TWO 2019 Calendars. For the first time in a long time, I was able to sit and get my head into the website.  Usually, I am so tired or too busy to actually get to sit and tinker with things without interruption. Right now, I am feeling very exhausted with coding, but VERY impressed with my progress and turn out of the changes made. Another great thing about no trip today? We will qualify for a full 34 hour restart – not planned – but a restart anyway. Good thing since we kept hitting our 70 hours everyday! Hopefully I will have news of our next trip. If so, I will keep ya posted!
