Packing Up and Moving!

Afternoon ya’ll.Hope you enjoyed the daytime ride over the Sierra Mountains today. We are done with the overnight express runs for the time being. We had to stop short in Sacramento, California about an hour North of Stockton because of our extreme shortage on our 70 hour clock. We will only have about 5 hours to use tomorrow so after our delivery, we will take a 34 hour restart. We already have our next trip scheduled for Monday morning and it will cover some ground we haven’t been on in a few years. So what about the title to this blog? We are currently moving the BigRigTravels.com website from the older crowded shared servers that has been our home since we started back in 2008 to a newer dedicated server. Think of it as moving from a densely populated apartment complex to a single family home with lots of yard space! Basically, this means you should notice faster response times, loading of page details, and no more “Internal Server Error” we saw at times. We will be set up to handle more traffic at the same time, and just a more pleasant experience while you explore and visit BigRigTravels. The moving to our new server home has already begun! Tomorrow morning we will head on down to make our final delivery then relax for the rest of the weekend!
