Ok, quick rundown of what is going on with our current shipper in Champaign, Illinois.
First, the load was scheduled as a preloaded trailer due at 10am 5/31. It turned into a live load. Five hours later, we are done and go scale our load. Even with the trailer tandems fully set back, our weights were: 11280/29360/35880. Totally illegal. So, we go back and was told they wouldn’t get us reworked until late last night. That’s why we went to the truckstop to spend the night.
We go back this morning expecting a fixed and legal loading only to find these weights now: 11180/26520/38780! Even more illegal than yesterday! While backing into the door to be reworked once again, we opened this doors and found multiple cases of product had been ripped open by forklifts. Not only do they not know how to legally load our trailer, they are trying to push off damaged products!
They are currently working the load for the third time. We will get rolling once someone somewhere decides to do things properly!
