Big Rig Travels day began at 10:08 am EDT. It was 70 degrees and partly cloudy at the Flying J near West Hanover Township, PA. Late start, Steve woke up this morning with allergy issues. Headed to shipper in Stuarts Draft, VA.
We stopped at the Blue Beacon for a trailer washout near Middlesex, PA at 10:42 am.
Steve advised at 11:58 am that his dad turned 83 years old today. Shout out to Steve’s dad!
Arrival at the shipper near Stuarts Draft, VA at 3:25 pm to check in for a drop and hook of a preloaded trailer. Starting our trip to Edwardsville, IL.
Big Rig Steve officially done at the Beckley Travel Plaza in WV at 7:40 pm. It was 66 degrees and clear.
Numbers: 569 miles to receiver. We covered 386 miles rolling out of Pennsylvania, into VA and then WV. 498 to Diamond.
Clocks: 3:30 hours on 11 hr, 4:01 hours on 14 hr, 26:34 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
