Columbus, OH to West Pennsboro Twp, PA

Big Rig Travels Sunday began at 8:46 am EDT.  It was 63 degrees and overcast near Columbus, OH.  Recording was 7:18 hrs.  We are continuing our trip to Mechanicsburg, PA. “Alrighty, alrighty, alrighty, lights on, let’s go.  Good morning everybody,” as Zelda navigated our departure.  

Storytime occurs at 8:52 am as Steve points out the missing mall as we headed onto I-70 east.

“Going to take you through downtown…Through the haze, there’s downtown” at 8T :54 am.

Love’s stop near Etna, OH at 9:21 am for refer fuel.  Steve returns to the truck, “that was cutting it close, we put in 48 gallons into the 50 gallon tank.” 181 gallons to gold.  “Ok, ready to go? How do we get out of here, look at this mess, dropped trailers…”

Back onto I-70 east.

Another Love’s stop near Morristown, OH at 11:00 am for truck fuel and coffee.

Crossing the Ohio River at 11:52 am.  Welcome to West Virginia near Wheeling.

Welcome to Pennsylvania at 12:05 pm near Donegel Township.

I-70 tunnel at 1:48 pm near Stoney Creek Township, PA.  It was foggy upon exit from the tunnel.  A slowdown on I-70 near Napier Township, PA at 2:06 pm.

Another slowdown on I-76 at 2:43 pm near Brush Creek Township, PA.  And yet another slowdown near Fangette Township, PA at 3:30 pm.

Another tunnel at 3:36 pm and 3:38 pm called the Blue Mountain Tunnel.

Big Rig Steve officially done at 4:02 pm safely parked at the I-76 service plaza near West Pennsboro Township, PA.

Numbers:  21 miles to receiver, a live unload at 1:00 pm.  Driving through Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Clocks: 4:08 hours on 11 hr, 5:59 hours on 14 hr, 16:41 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 6:51 hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
