Daily Summary for 6/2/2023

Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at 12:54 EDT at ❤️ near Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Watch party began then ended at 22:05 EDT

Title: First Freaky Friday with Big Rig Star ⭐️ aka Starlink

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began early at 3:00 EDT at service plaza near Allentown, PA as we needed to continue on the turnpike so that we could turn around to go back towards the yard near Jonestown, PA to pick up required load locks for today’s load.

We arrived at the yard and BRS switched camera to British mode dash view. We were able to complete a pollen wash off the Blue Comet and trailer by passing through the automated drive thru truck wash at the yard. Very cool! Then scored the four load locks.

We arrived six minutes early for our appointment, “good timing.”

Loading only required 32 minutes.

We rolled out of New Jersey and back into PA through Philadelphia and of course Jonathan R. was waiting to wave at us on the overpass again. Road crew waving out the Blue Comet, unfortunately BRS missed seeing Jonathan.

10:24 EDT BRS stopped at service plaza for thirty minute break and switched back to using the BRT app.

Numbers (according to storm ) 330 miles 531 km covered today in PA and into and out of New Jersey shipper. Clocks: we started the day with 48:03 hours on 70 hr. We ended up 25 gallons short of Gold for June Loves rewards.

Delivery is Monday morning 7:00 CDT in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, so we have two days to complete the trip. No alarm clock tomorrow morning.

The 126ers playing BRT closing theme song “On My Way Home” ended the broadcast day. Yay, nice to hear that song play!

Another good day for Big Rig Travels.

Welcome to Pennsylvania.
