Freaky Friday!

Welcome to June already! Just a few notes for today and this weekend…

First thing is, our next shipper requires multiple load locks in the trailer. We have none, and no truckstops around here have any. We will first need to run over to our terminal in Jonestown and pick four up. Once we do that, we will head to New Jersey to live load for our trip.

Second , we are still testing Starlink. We have set up our bonding of our satellite and 4G and 5G signals. During our first experiment with it, we lost the broadcast just before we arrived in Allentown. Looking at the bonding logs, it successfully made several switches, but it looks like our custom broadcast app fails to reconnect after we do the third switchover. We will try an experiment and use the native YouTube streaming app to verify everything works outside of our app. This means none of our onscreen graphics will be present, since YouTube doesn’t use them. Remember, we are still in the testing phase with this so just relax and be patient. We’ve been doing these broadcasts for 16 years now and have changed and grown with technology – testing and working out the kinks is part of the growing process!
