Springfield, MO to Durant, OK
Big Rig Travels Thursday began at 9:38 am CDT. It was 59 degrees and cloudy. Today is a 7 hr recording. “Alright, are we ready to drive? Truck stop was a zoo last night.” Leaving from the Flying J onto I-44. Rain, thunder and lightening last night. Gotten two trips, but too many miles and too little hours to do legally. BRS turned them both down.
Love’s stop near Sarcoxie, MO at 10:27 am for fuel and coffee. Steve advised at this point we were 92 gallons to gold status.
Welcome to Oklahoma at 11:14 am near Joplin.
Now onto US69 at 11:58 am near Pensacola, OK.
Love’s stop at 1:45 pm near Eufaula, OK. Ended up backing up out of fuel island to get around a Big Rig blocking his exit. The back up and slither over maneuver.
Accident near Durant, OK with officers directing traffic through lane changes at 3:54 pm and to the Love’s at 3:59 pm. Audio was muted so Steve could take care of business before and had inadvertently forgotten to unmute. He parked for his 1/2 hour mandatory break, played one of the BRT new hit Road Crew songs, and ended up deciding to stay the night due to limited available parking between here and Dallas, TX. He decides to swoop on in early tomorrow morning for delivery.

Numbers: Rolled out of Missouri and into Oklahoma.
Clocks: 5:07 hours on 11 hr, 6:10 hours on 14 hr, 14:43 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 8:29 hours tomorrow morning.
