Daily Summary for 5/30/2023

Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at 17:03 EDT safely parked in a service plaza on I-80 Ohio turnpike near Cleveland, Ohio.

Title: Day two testing starlink broadcasting

Big Rig Travels broadcast began at 7:24 CDT near Niles, Illinois after live loading was completed. Yesterday’s frustration now behind us as we roll eastward on a familiar route that we had traveled on final trip of season four.

First stream rolled to near South Holland, IL.

Today’s second stream included stop at Loves ❤️off of US 20 near Angola for fueling and fresh coffee.

Third stream today resumed at Loves ❤️ just prior to rolling into Ohio and then back onto I-80 Ohio turnpike to near Bellevue, Ohio.

Another stream began near Amherst, OH  brought us to end of the day.

Starlink allowed testing of 1080P broadcasting today. Two different size displays also tested.

Numbers: 399 miles 642 km to receiver in Pennsylvania. Live unload appointment moved to 18:00 EDT Wednesday due to yesterday’s issues which delayed trip. Covered  372 miles 598 km today rolling out of Illinois, across Indiana on into Ohio. Clocks ️ 3:05 hours on 11 hr, 4:00 hours on 14 hr, 57:52 hours on 70 hr,   5 minutes remaining before needing mandatory 30 minute break. BRS was wise to save  30 minutes of 70 hr clock. No alarm ⏰ clock tomorrow morning.  25 gallons away from Loves ❤️ gold status for June with one more day left in the month.

Another good day for Big Rig Travels.

Welcome to Ohio.
