Middletown, VA to Elliston, VA
Big Rig Travels Sunday began at 11:15 am EDT. It was 68 degrees and cloudy near Middletown, VA. 3 hr 10 min recording. We have 260 miles to go. “We lounged around this morning and dragged our feet.” We stayed at a band new Sheetz last night. He pointed out a fancy (and expensive) semi. BRS thought it was $250,000 truck.
We rolled back onto I-81, continuing our trip to Bluefield, VA.
“Beautiful day out here in Virginia” at 1:14 pm.
A weigh mass station at 1:42 pm, no issues.
At 2:08 pm we stopped at Love’s for fuel near Elliston, VA, then parked for the end of the day. It was 78 degrees and sunshine.
Later on, a LIVE watch party occurred, using the 360 cameral.
Numbers: 84 miles to receiver for a 10 am delivery. We’ll take the backroads. We covered 177 miles rolling within Virginia. We have 179 gallons to Platinum.
Clocks: 8:04 hours on 11 hr, 10:15 hours on 14 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
