Big Rig Steve safely parked and done for the day at an independent truck stop in Lebanon, Missouri elevation 1,204’ Clocks stopped at 19:12 CDT.

Title: No buns available 

Bigrigtravels broadcast day began with sunshine at 9:12 CDT near Erick, OK elevation 1,955′ after spending the night in the welcome center rest stop. 

First stop was Flying hook for coffee near Sayre OK at 9:34 CDT. 

Shortly after leaving the stop, pounding on the passenger door from the  frog began. Apparently she failed to get into Blue Comet after running amok at the Flying hook.

Near Elk City, OK 10:10 CDT on I-40 Jemima frog was still knocking.

Rolled past Loves ❤️near Hinton, OK at 11:09 CDT 

Broadcast resumed on I-44 east at 12:49 CDT near Chandler, OK after stopping.

Stopped at 15:00 CDT at Loves near Big Cabin for 50 gallons of fuel and lunch. BRS was on a roll, yes fresh cut onions and favorite cheddar hotdogs were available … Yep, come to find out no buns. Dag nab it! What’s the point if you’re not going have any buns. Bacon burger is going to have to do today.

15:30 CDT rolling on the toll road near Vinita, OK.

Rolled out of Oklahoma into Missouri near Joplin, MO at 16:10 CDT and received a green light bypass the mass/weigh station. 

BRT Road crew member Bryce was up on the overpass near Springfield, MO waving at us at 17:35 CDT.

Loves coffee tanker spotted in the wild on exit ramp off I-44  17:35 CDT near Stafford, MO.

18:00 CDT traffic backed up on I-44 near Conway, MO after moving slowly for 45 mins, discovered that the issue was RL Carriers big rig that had caught on fire. 

Number: 517 miles 832 km to delivery on Friday morning. Covered 489 miles 786 km today, rolling through Oklahoma and into Missouri. Clocks 1:44 hours on the 11 hr , 3:29 hours on the 14 hr , 35:02 hours on the 70 hr, do not gain any hours tomorrow.  319 gallons away from Gold status.

Do not have a next trip yet. No alarm clock tomorrow morning.
