Daily Summary for 4/27/2025

Nashville, TN-Jasper, TN-Union City, GA

Big Rig Travels Sunday began at 10:24 am CDT near Nashville, TN at the TA.  It was 58 degrees and overcast.  We are continuing our trip to Union City, GA.  Steve spots a big rig driving with two tires missing on the drives at 10:27 am.

BRS hears a tire blow out near or on Blue Comet at 12:09 pm near Kimball, TN.  Stop to check at 12:11 pm near Jasper, TN.  “OK guess it was us, let’s see, should be a Love’s coming up…next exit.  Oh well…3 miles away…looks like it just came off the rim.”  “we were going to stop at Love’s any ways.”  Dropped trailer in lot at Love’s tire shop at 12:22 pm.

Recording ends at 12:35 pm.  Resumes 3:13 pm after tire repaired.  It is 76 degrees now and mostly sunny.

Slow down in Chattanooga, TN at 4:47 pm on I-24.

Stop at Love’s near Emerson, GA for fuel and coffee at 7:12 pm. 

Recording ends at 8:35 pm.  “That’s all for today.  That’s it, we made it to delivery.”  Arrival at receiver near Union City, GA to check in to complete drop of the trailer.

Numbers:  0 miles to receiver.  We rolled out of Tennessee and into Georgia today with an unscheduled stop for a tire repair as well.
