10:00 EDT rolling out on Hwy 283 to I-76 Turnpike.
11:02 EDT tunnel near Willow Hill, PA on I-76.
11:13 RV broke down on side of the road near Hustontown, PA.
11:20 EDT BRS advised “we are approaching the storm clouds “ near Harrisonville, PA “we are going to get wet”. Shortly afterwards I-70 joined the turnpike.
11:34 EDT big rig pulled over on eastbound side of I-70 by two law enforcement vehicles.
12:02 EDT passed back by the broken into two pieces big rig trailer on eastbound side of I-70 that we passed a couple days ago. Shortly afterwards, back into another tunnel near Berlin, PA.
14:02 EDT Welcome to Ohio sign greeted us near Petersburg, OH.
14:25 EDT on to I-80 Ohio turnpike near North Jackson, OH.
Numbers: 336 miles 540 km to delivery at 7:00 CDT Monday morning, another easy day planned for tomorrow. Covered 322 miles 518 km today rolling out of Pennsylvania into Ohio.
Clocks 5:40 hours on the 11 hr, 7:46 hours on the 14 hr, 24:56 hours on the 70 hr, eight day running total 1,534 miles 2,479 km. Started 295’ ended at 1,188’ elevation. We are five gallons away from Loves Gold status for May.
