Big Rig Steve officially done for the day safely parked at ❤️ near Middleton, PA at 15:38 EDT with the best view in the house of the entire fuel ⛽️ Island, Cat Scale, and also the flow of traffic in and out. Watch party began as Steve narrated an example of moving the trailer tandems by a big rig in front of the Cat Scale , along with answers to BRT RC questions. Also, a RC meet up occurred.

Big Rig Travels broadcast began 7:45 EDT with hazy skies, overcast, 51 deg F,11 deg C near the receiver. BRS had started earlier for the 4:00 EDT delivery appointment. Yep, a dreaded alarm ⏰ clock morning. Welcome to freaky Friday.
First stop to find the TA near Paulsboro, NJ for coffee ☕️ once we found the way. While BRS was inside, the BRT RC were busy on the BRT YouTube chat discussing BRS route for the day.
Resumed rolling 8:23 EDT, dead heading to the shipper near Cinnaminson, NJ (wonder if good place for cinnamon rolls?).
8:32 EDT: traffic backed up after we exited off I-295 which leads to BRS to ask a question of how to acknowledge someone that allows you to merge in to traffic lane?
8:50 EDT: BRS described last night’s meal of steak fajitas and what ingredient was added thanks to a RC member gift yesterday. Yes fresh chopped !
12:40 EDT: Yes, many RC have played it back again as our very own Road Crew member Johnathan R was able to position himself on the overpass with his yellow and black Big Rig Steve RC flag as BRS honked BC horn and flashed the lights as rest of the RC waved out at Jonathan near the King of Prussia, PA.
Due to turnpike closures, we end up on the backroads again today. 14:07 EDT BRS noted in stoppage near Elverson, PA “I don’t know about you but this sitting and waiting is for the birds”.
14:39 EDT: finally back rolling on to the big road I-176 BRS noted “back up to highway speeds” near Morgantown, PA.
BRS advised that it had been a good day, we saw backroads and even a covered bridge.
Numbers: 155 miles 249 km covered today including early morning delivery and live loading. We rolled out of New Jersey, through Philadelphia, PA metro and covered backroads of Pennsylvania. 660 miles 1062 km to delivery in Chicago Monday morning, so no rush, we have two days to travel. Clocks: 5:12 hours on 11 hr, 3:16 hours on the 14 hr, 31:10 hours on the 70 hr. Eight day running summary totals approximately 1,212 miles 1,961 km. Started day at 23’ ended at 282’ elev.
BRS also announced next trip is 700 miles 1,126 km scheduled/proposed to pickup Monday after delivery. Yes, BRT RC are now busy calculating what destinations it could possibly be.
BRS noted his good old rule for each day that we had accomplished again today. “Shut down safely at night with no accident paper work, then it’s been a good day”.
