Big Rig Steve safely parked for the day in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma ❤️. Parking was tight as two other big rigs were also grabbing spots up as we arrived. Clock stopped at 19:34 CST. Perfect timing again for Steve. Visit to the Cat Scale in morning before we roll.

Bigrigtravels broadcast day began 8:00 CST near East St Louis, IL with coffee and Blue Comet window wash as the faces of road crew looked outside. Big Rig Steve played the audio welcome performed by BRT RC Wally3USAFWR. Lots of action was occurring as we waited for a truck that was blocking our exit to leave. First responders were addressing an issue near the Cat Scale .
As BRS rolled out, Steve had story about early days of driving and how he was woken up by EMS ambulance and helicopter near his rig.
We found the rain ☔️ which was nuisance at times. We made sure we had lights on, as many vehicles did not in the rain, which makes an issue seeing them.
I-44 near Stratford, Missouri 11:45 CST stopped at Loves ❤️ for coffee.
Near Springfield, MO 12:11 CST BRT Road Crew Bryce C. spotted by BRS waving out in the rain on top of overpass just after I-44 mile marker 76.6. Yes, Bryce needs a BRT Road Crew yellow flag to wave, available at Bigrigtravels.com in the store.
Welcome to Arkansas sign greeted us at 13:49 CST as we were traveling backroads out of Missouri to Bentonville, AR which happens to be the world headquarters for Walmart. We found our way back onto I-49 . Yes, BRS advised that he has been to the famous downtown Walmart original store. Now it’s a museum about the company.
Springdale, AR we fueled at the Pilot 14:39 CST.
We arrived at delivery in Fort Smith, AR. Steve ended up jockeying around trailers so that we could make the drop at the door to complete our first trip of season three 2023 at 17:00 CST.
BRT RC meet up occurred as Steve was working on updating the Bigrigtravels website with our next trip. (Woo hoo, yes we are bound for Arizona). Skeeter brought BRS cookies and received his BRT RC meet up Medallion.
We left delivery at 17:28 CST to get to the shipper with the empty trailer we had traded for at delivery. Camera was flipped to British mode as we closed in on the shipper at 17:43 CST for a drop and hook which Steve had already warmed up after completing that at the receiver.
18:22 CST camera flipped back to normal as we left shipper. One hour trip to get to Loves for parking for the night and even get some fuel in the morning.
At 18:40 CST as BC went over the Arkansas River bridge on US 64, Welcome to Oklahoma sign greeted us.
Numbers for today: 1,104 miles 1,776 km to delivery. Today, we rolled out of Illinois, through Missouri, into Arkansas and ended the day in Oklahoma. We covered 463 miles 745 km, included delivery and pickup. Clocks: 1:43 hours on the 11 hr, 1:51 hours on the 14 hr, 46:00 hours on the 70 hr. No alarm clock tomorrow.
