Daily Summary for 3/20/2024

Big Rig Steve officially done for the day at 19:45 EDT safely parked at near Newport, Tennessee.  He found a spot on the dirt lot to park.

Title: Beginning Trip 1 of 2 to get back home.

Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 10:51 EDT at the Pilot near St Matthews, South Carolina.  We had a sunny start continuing our trip to North Charleston, SC to pick up the preloaded trailer.

Stopped at the Love’s near Orangeburg, SC at 11:10 EDT, topped off the refer tank and fresh coffee was acquired.

BRS completed the drop and hook at the shipper at 12:34 EDT.  The status changed to “on time to delivery” at 13:15 EDT.  “That was pretty easy, wasn’t it?”

He started his trip towards Indiana.

Numbers:  500 miles 804 km to receiver tomorrow.  We covered 391 miles 629 km rolling out of South Carolina, through North Carolina and into Tennessee. 

Clocks: 3:08 hours on 11 hr,  4:38 hours on 14 hr,  57:02 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
