Big Rig Travels day began at 11:48 am EDT. It is 53 degrees and clear near Middlesboro, KY. Steve’s delivery last night did not start until 10:30 pm, completed at 12:30 am. Luckily he found parking just outside the receiver on the street. We are starting our dead head trip to the shipper near Scottsville, KY.
Love’s stop near Corbin, KY at 1:10 pm to fuel up all our tanks. We are now 724 gallons for the month, 276 to Platinum.
Stopped for a trailer washout near London, KY at 1:55 pm. Steve found the place to be abandoned with an eviction notice on the door. Instead Steve blows out the trailer.
Arrival at the shipper near Scottsville, KY at 3:48 pm to complete the drop and hook. Starting our trip to the yard near Lebanon, TN at 4:14 pm.
Alright, welcome to Tennessee at 4:29 pm near Westmoreland.
Broadcast ends at 5:16 pm CDT as we near the yard to drop the trailer for another driver to continue on overnight for its delivery. We will be waiting until tomorrow evening for another driver to bring our next trailer and trip. Predicted start time will be around 7:30 pm CDT.
Numbers: 190 miles to shipper and 41 miles to the yard.
Clocks: 13:26 hours on 70 hr when we started this morning. Gain back 8:30 hours tomorrow morning.
