Big Rig Steve officially done driving for the day at 16:08 CST safely parked back in Joliet Illinois. A watch party started with Steve answering BRT You Tube Chat Road Crew Questions including the most important question? Numbers for the day.

Yes Blue is a clue and No it was not our Blue Comet.
Steve started the day right at the free safe parking near the receiver in Marengo Ohio. We repeated the prior day trip in reverse and found some of the buffer monsters from the previous day.
13:30 EST we stopped in again at the Loves in Plymouth Indiana for truck fuel along with the normal staples of coffee and such. Steve had to wait in line for fuel Island chatted with the crew and answered questions while we waited for truck in front to finally come back out of store and start fueling. Also a driver in pajamas and flip flops caught the BRT RC attention. Also an oldy but goodie topic Steve address the question of why are you always stopped? Yes apparently one of BRT non frequent viewers happened to just tune in and only catches us at fuel stops.
14:39 CST, near Gary, we observed fan of BRT up on the bridge waving at Steve, which the Blue Comet big horn greeted back as all 531 crew riding along waved back. Thank you for waving whomever you are on this wet damp grey day to be out waiting for us to pass. Please post whom you were so Steve can thank you.
As we approached Illinois state highway # 53 Steve noted as the highway shield image on the screen changed from 52 that BRT RC member Mark Verstappen has been working on adding road sign shields images to the website and to thank Mark when you see him on the Chat or BRT Discord
Blue Comet at 15:32 rolled into the receiver in Joliet, IL as BRS flipped the camera around. We then proceeded to drop our load of OHIO air (we were completing a dedicated run dead heading back to shipper).
As Steve made his way to find the next trailer, he gave a wave to the reversed camera. BRT RC member AA7YA noted on the YT chat “ Enjoys the Stealth mode watching BRS drive his British truck”. We found the next trailer load and OH NO not again. Yes more issues.. BRS advised that brand new trailer was good, but the refer was not. There were three warning codes # 20, 610, 619 (yes you can look those up of you desire). So we left the load for company services to make necessary repairs and we left for the Pilot to park for the night.
Numbers for today : covered 336 miles 540 km. Clocks: 3:42 on the 11 hour , 3:47 on the 14 hour, 50:42 on the 70 hour . Eight day running total 1,014 miles 1,631 km
No alarm clock tomorrow, we pick up the pre-loaded trailer once error codes are resolved and roll back to Marengo, Ohio. Watch party concluded. Snowman 24/7 camera available on the website to watch out the Blue Comet for the night.
