Lathrop, CA to Tracy, CA to Bakersfield, CA

Big Rig Travels day began at 7:09 am PST.  It is 42 degrees and beautiful sunrise to the east as he is leaving the yard in Lathrop, CA.  We are starting our trip to Tracy, CA.

Arrival near receiver to check in for a live unload near Tracy as broadcast ends at 7:37 am.

Broadcast resumes at 9:41 am, it is 50 degrees and clear, another trip successfully and safely completed.

Leaving the receiver, deadheading to next shipper near Bakersfield, CA.

Love’s stop near Santa Nella, CA at 10:43 am for coffee.

I-5 slowdown at 12:01 pm near Coalinga, CA.

Love’s stop near Lost Hills, CA at 1:23 pm.  Steve advises at 1:25 pm, “Yellow pole alert on all sides…no yellow poles were harmed in the production of that move.”  Steve had to wiggle around two big rigs that had stopped short of the fuel island.

Big Rig Steve officially done at the Love’s near Bakersfield, CA at 2:32 pm.

Numbers: about 5 miles to shipper, a live load at 8:00 am tomorrow.  We covered 252 miles including a live delivery.  Start time projected between 7:00 and 7:15 am.

Clocks: 4:56 hours on 11 hr,  5:52 hours on 14 hr, 62:44 hours on 70 hr.  Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning. 

No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
