Daily Summary for 12/16/2025

Millersburg, OR to Lakehead, CA

Big Rig Travels day began at 8:32 pm PST.  It is 56 degrees and overcast at the Love’s near Millersburg, Oregon.  BRS waves at the road crew at 8:37.15 with a fresh Love’s coffee.  We are continuing our trip to Tracy, CA for delivery #2.  We only have 8 hours on our 70 hour clock to use today.  Back onto I-5 south as the road crew song played.  Green grass was visible along the road.

Love’s stop near Green, OR for fuel and a road crew meet up at 10:43 am with Tooldman, aka Coach who had plenty of gifts for Steve to have to find space for them in the Blue Comet.  Coach greeting all of the BRT Road Crew and wished them a Merry Christmas.

Welcome to California near Hornbrook at 1:47 pm.  It is 46 degrees and raining.

Stream dropped at 2:06 pm and resumed at 2:18 pm at a rest area near Yreka, CA on I-5.

End of the day, ended up at a rest stop at 4:20 pm near Lakehead, CA as Steve was searching for his nighttime glasses which he could not find.  He could no longer drive with his daytime glasses as it was getting dark.  Stream ended at 4:54 pm.

Numbers: 253 miles to receiver #2 at Tracy, CA with delivery at 11:00 am, so we would need to leave by 5:00 am, which would give him the rest of the evening to find his glasses.

    I hope that you found your night time glasses. Always good seeing you this is your Roadcrew from Acworth, GA use to be Kennesaw but we moved to Acworth. It’s been a while since I sent any messages to you but always been watching both recorded and live

    • My former brother in law lived in Acworth. Neat town.

  2. That should be Yreka on I-5 Eureka Ca is on the coast on hiway 101
