Daily Summary for 11/3/2025

Lambsburg, VA-Salisbury, NC-Graham, NC-South Hill, VA

Big Rig Travels day began at 7:10 am EST. It is 40 degrees and clear at the Love’s in Lambsburg, VA.  We are continuing our trip to Salisbury, NC which is 80 miles away.

Arrival at receiver at 8:46 am to check in for our 9:00 appointment.   Backed into a door at 9:09 am.  Received the green dock light at 12:06 pm.  Another delivery safely completed at 12:21 pm.  

We start our next trip, a dead head to Graham, NC.

Love’s stop at 12:46 pm near Salisbury, NC (still?) for refer fuel.

Arrival at shipper at 2:15 pm near Burlington, NC to check in.  38 minutes to get loaded.  Check out at 3:54 pm and starting our trip to Quakertown, PA.

Love’s stop near Mebane for the Cat Scale weigh mass check. “processing, processing, alright we are legal the way we are”.  Fuel for the Blue Comet and a windshield was completed.  411 gallons to gold for December. 

Big Rig Steve officially done at the Love’s at 6:18 pm South Hill, VA.  It was 54 degrees and dark.

 

Numbers: 374 miles to receiver for a live unload at 3:00 pm tomorrow.  We will start roughly at 5:00 am.  We also have a next trip.  We covered miles rolling out of Virginia and into North Carolina, then back into Virginia.

Clocks: hours on 11 hr, 2:18 hours on 14 hr, 40:58 hours on 70 hr.  We saw two customers today, all on one stream.
