Daily Summary for 11/22/2025

Jeffersonville, OH to Adairsville, GA

Big Rig Travels day began at 8:57 am at the Love’s near Jeffersonville, OH.  It is 43 degrees and mostly cloudy.  “You all ready to play?”  We are continuing our trip to Opelika, AL.

Driving through the Cincinnati, OH metro around 10:04 am.  

Welcome to Kentucky at Covington at 10:06 am.  

Flying J stop near Walton, KY at 10:27 am.  Steve reports coffee and donuts and a nice discount for veterans.  

Steve was becoming a poet and making poem about Aunt J at 11:40 am, the crazy frog that rides around with BRS.  

Love’s stop at 1:00 pm near Corbin, KY.  Initially he had to wait for fuel authorization, but eventually, “We get to fill up with everything!”  After fueling, coffee, onions and hotdogs.  We are now 403 gallons from Diamond.  He parks and finishes out his 30 minute break.  

Welcome to Tennessee at Jellico at 2:03 pm.

Headed through Knoxville at 3:10 pm (about 1/2 way).

Welcome to Georgia near East Ridge at 4:44 pm.

At 5:10 pm, a trailer passes and Steve notes, “Fat little pigs… BACON!!! All Things Harbor here comes your bacon!!”

Big Rig Steve officially done at 5:38 pm at the Quik Trip near Adairsville, GA along the edge of the lot. 

Numbers: 151 miles to receiver, we drop tomorrow whenever we get there, then 150 miles to the next shipper where we have a live load at 8:00 am on Monday.  We have a live unload at 1:00 am on Wednesday.

Clocks: 3:06 hours on 11 hr, 4:16 hours on 14 hr, 5:31 hours on 70 hr.  Gain back 6:41 hours tomorrow morning.
