Zion Crossroads, VA to Catlettsburg, KY
Big Rig Travels day began at 11:23 am EDT. It is 68 degrees and clear at the BP truck stop near Zion Crossroads, VA. We are starting our deadhead trip to the shipper near Stuarts Draft, VA to pick up a preloaded trailer. We left receiver at 9:45 pm last evening.
Love’s stop near Greenville, VA at 12:26 pm for fuel and Love’s coffee.
Stop at the Blue Beacon near Raphine, VA at 12:55 pm for a trailer washout.
Arrival at shipper to complete drop and hook at 2:33 pm near Stuarts Draft, VA. By 3:10 pm we are starting our trip to Edwardsville, IL.
Back at the Love’s near Greenville, VA to visit the weigh mass CAT scale at 3:22 pm. No hotdogs, no onions in the store, but did get 65 gallons of fuel. 340 gallons to Platinum status.
On I-64 at 6:37 pm honk at Greg Treadway near Mount Hope, WV.
“Alright welcome to KY” at 8:37 pm near Cattlesburg.
Big Rig Steve officially done at 8:48 pm at the Flying J near Catlettsburg, KY with plenty of places here.
Numbers: 447 miles to receiver. We covered miles rolling
Clocks: 3:43 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 10:04 hours tomorrow morning.
No alarm clock ⏰ tomorrow.
