Big Rig Travels day began at 10:48 am EST. It is 30 degrees and partly cloudy at the Pilot near Knoxville, TN. We are starting our dead head trip to the next shipper near Murfreesboro, TN.
Onto I-40 west, weigh mass station visit near Farragut, TN at 11:13 am. Drive through with no issues.
I-40 slowdown starts near Monterey, TN at 11:27 am. “Oh no, somebody have an accident? This not good.”
Slowdown continues until we reach near Cookeville, TN at 12:02 pm. “Big rig in the ditch on the right…wow…bet that was a wild ride. Oh no, must be another accident up here” at 12:05 pm. There were several big rigs damaged along the left side of the road.
Love’s stop near Baxter, TN at 12:23 pm.
Arrival at the shipper near Murfreesboro at 2:15 pm to check in to complete the drop and hook of a preloaded trailer that was not ready, so we parked in front of it at 2:43 pm.
Leaving the shipper at 3:02 pm and starting our trip to the first receiver near Cordele, GA.
Welcome to Georgia at 6:10 pm near Ringgold.
Big Rig Steve officially done at the QT near Adairsville, GA at 7:02 pm EST.Start approximately at 6:00 am tomorrow
Numbers: 251 miles to first receiver, delivery as soon as we get there. We covered 350 miles. . Yesterday’s driving score was 1005 points.
Clocks: 1:20 hours on 70 hr. Gain back 10:16 hours tomorrow morning.
