Cornflakes

Good morning gang! The first delivery went as planned but they only had 204 cases and they still managed to stretch it out to two hours! Oh well, delivery one accomplished.  So, we headed out and drove through the night in the mountains and slick snow and freezing drizzle. We just got here to Wytheville,  Virginia for coffee and stretch the legs out and get blood moving again. I was prepared for a 430am delivery tomorrow morning in North Carolina….  But when I got back to the truck, 32 new messages were rolling in!! The planners, um, kinda monkeyed with all the times. They wanted me to make tomorrow’s delivery right now! Well, slight problem since I don’t have enough time on my 14 hour limit, and even if I did,  I’m still 190 miles away and still have mountains to climb so it would be impossible for me to be in North Carolina in and hour. Ha. Sent my own multiple messages, so as of right now, we are shutdown for our ten hour break. Perhaps we will get a new set of realistic delivery times before I wake up.

BTW, it’s cold out! Crank up the bunk heater!!
