Good morning. Yesterday was pretty busy for me. We had our morning delivery in Brundidge, Alabama then went to the closest truckstop to wait for our next trip. It sure didn’t take long! We arrived at our shipper yesterday about two hours early…and they put us in a door right away and started loading us! Also, when I was backing up to the dock, the loader opened my doors for me, chocked the tires and told me to relax a few minutes. After about thirty minutes, he was grabbing the load locks off the truck and putting them in the trailer! What makes this different? That’s what I normally have to do but for someone else to hop to it, do it, get me loaded, etc….I was impressed! The bills were ready quickly as well. I arrived very early and yet we were in and out the gates in 45 minutes!! We were able to get a very good headstart on this trip. We still have 430 miles to go, but when we arrive in Dallas we will take our rest then get up and make our 2am delivery on the otherside of town.
