Well so many problems lately!
I think I finally got the GPS to behave. I think.
We picked up our preloaded trailer and had to go to three different places looking for it! When we attached to it, I noticed there are NO trailer brakes at all. None, nothing. Also, the tandem pins won’t retract enough to release the trailer tandems to slide. Now, on top of that, we barely had enough time to complete the trip, but now we only have 8 hours left on our 70! We gain back one tomorrow, but we still have to drive to get the trailer repaired! We will do that in the morning. I know I will run into my 14 hour limit for today and I know for a fact the truckstop in Spartenburg woud not have a spot for us to spend the night by the time the repairs were completed. So…..this trip just does not look very good at the moment.
Oh, and the mudflaps are missing off the trailer! So, we will sleep here since we have a spot. Tomorrow morning we head right to the repair shop. Then, we will see what happens with things.
See ya in the morning…….while the trailer gets fixed.
