We are taking our 30 minute break and I am using it to start fights with the insurance folks… They messed things up big-time!
So, last night I ate the buffet at the Travel Centers of America in Wheeling, West Virginia. I have a habit of asking for and paying the bill about ten minutes before I am finished simply because when I am done and ready to leave the bill is paid and I don’t have to wait. I paid the bill and while I was signing the bill, the waitress grabbed my salad and dinner plate and threw it in the trash bucket five feet away! I asked her why and that I wasn’t even done and she told me she had to do that because nobody can take food out of the restaurant! Who was going to do that? I wanted to munch some more while watching the news about that missing cargo ship!
We will continue on shortly. I think I will call customer service at the truck stop headquarters about this first…
