Morning! We made our delivery yesterday and they were taking forever to unload just 11,000 pounds! They refused quite a few cases that were damaged from the shipper, so we are on our way back to the point of origin! We already had our next trip which would have taken us to Mississippi, but nope, not now. We got this mess to clean up first. I still need my oil changed…… So will probably end up in Rochelle for the day. One step at a time. You just never know what we are doing until I actually do it!
UPDATE…
We arrived at the shipper to return their products but they refused us entry because it was not handled properly. Nope, not my fault, I just drive where I’m told. We dragged everything to a yard in Rochelle, Illinois where we will get our oil and filters changed. This is our first service for the truck. We have officially reached past the 50,000 mile mark! I looked at the average miles per gallon since we first got the truck brand new. Overall, average MPG is 8.1. Not too bad:-) As soon as we get things taken care of here and all of our ducks get lined up in a row again, I’ll let you know the next set of plans. I wouldn’t look for anything to happen until tomorrow morning though.
