A MILLION MILES (updated)

Good morning!  Well,  we finally did it!! We reached the One Million Mile (official,  paid, recorded miles) mark! That’s alot of cold, snowy winters. Traffic jams in every major city. Thousands of irresponsible drivers.  Horrible weather.  Truckstop food. Middle of the night deliveries.  We did all that with no accidents,  no citations,  no failed inspections. Yes, I will blow my own horn and give myself a pat on the back! I am very pleased with my clean record. We have the first trip posted to begin our next million miles with. We will head towards the shipper soon and make our way down South!  Lots of rain today in the forecast.  UPDATE… We got up at 3am this morning and made our delivery ontime,  got the trailer washed out, and got loaded for our next trip.  Sure, it is only lunchtime,  but we will take the rest of the day off.  Nine hours is a decent day….on my Million Mile Day!
