Big Rig Steve officially done at 2:04 pm safely parked near the TA near Florence, Kentucky.
Big Rig Travels broadcast day began at 9:09 am at the Flying J near Knoxville, Tennessee. 64 degrees and mostly cloudy. Continuing our trip to Erlanger, KY. BRS discussed camera position prior to rolling back on to I-75 north.
Beautiful sunshine was out by 10:01 am. BRS needed to switch to sunglasses.
Welcome to Kentucky at 10:43 am near Fairview.
Passing by Corbin, KY at 11:07 am, home to the Kentucky Fried Chicken museum and original restaurant.
“Green light, green light” at 12:48 pm for the bypass at the mass-weigh station near Delaplain, KY.
Love’s stop at 12:55 pm for fresh coffee and to “take on some fuel”. BRS thinks this is a new Love’s and hasn’t been here before in Scott County, KY.
Numbers: 4 miles to receiver. We covered 258 miles rolling out of Tennessee and into Kentucky. 8 day total is 1275 miles. 325 gallons to Love’s Gold status for October.
Clocks: 6:28 hours on 11 hr, 8:34 hours on 14 hr, 33:42 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
