Big Rig Travels day began at 8:43 am CDT. It is 66 degrees and partly cloudy at the Love’s in Olney, IL. We are starting our deadhead trip to Columbus, OH. “OK lets go” at 8:56 am.
Stopped at the Flying J near Spiceland, IN at 1:16 pm for coffee.
Broadcast ends as we near the yard near Columbus, OH at 3:44 pm.
At 4:29 pm, broadcast returns after completing the drop and hook in the yard and the mandatory 30 minute break.
Run into heavy rain after leaving the yard at 4:40 pm as we are making our way towards Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Big Rig Steve officially done near Hubbard Township, OH at the Shell truck parking lot at 7:40 pm EST. “We got road crew here.” Wayne and the family track us down for a visit in front of Blue Comet.
Numbers: 277 miles to receiver, we have a live delivery anytime before 1:00 pm tomorrow. Projecting to leave at 6:30 am. We covered 500+ miles rolling out of Illinois, through Indiana and into Ohio.
Clocks: 2:03 hours on 11 hr, 3:06 hours on 14 hr, 44:13 hours on 70 hr. Do not gain back hours tomorrow morning.
